This person will be selling Consulting Services eg. Strategy Consulting, Project Management and Software Development to new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves to "hunt" and find new business.

About the Role
As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and
securing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding
our client base for technology development and project management services. You will
play a crucial role in driving company growth and revenue by cultivating relationships with
potential clients and partners in the technology sector.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and market research
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities
- Create compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to client needs
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with new and existing clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand solution capabilities and align them with client requirements
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of proven experience in business development or sales in the technology industry
- Demonstrated success in selling complex technology solutions, particularly development projects and project management services
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and project management frameworks
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships with C-level executives and technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales methodologies
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Preferred Skills
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree
- Experience with enterprise software solutions, SaaS, or technology consulting services
- Knowledge of specific industries such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, or retail
- Experience in solution selling and consultative sales approaches
- Understanding of procurement processes within large organizations
- Certifications in sales methodologies or project management
