Location: Edmonton South (50% Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Senior Business Data Analyst with a knack for data and the ability to shape a project from start to finish. Someone who can work with subject matter experts as well as business and operational leaders to determine requirements, define key performance indicators, and develop insights and solutions for business problems.

What You’ll Do

• Support the team of Analysts in transforming data into analytics and presenting findings to all levels of AMA leadership.
• Work closely with business leaders to document clear project requirements based on business strategy, priorities, and processes.
• Perform analysis using data from various platforms.
• Partner with business leaders and customers to provide advice based on data and process analysis.
• Transform data into insights for sound business decisions.
• Create and present concise, strategic communications.
• Contribute to the development of performance metrics, reports, and dashboards.
• Ensure timely delivery of production deliverables and maintain data quality standards.

What You’ve Done

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or similar.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus.
• Strong understanding of business strategies and ability to validate results and identify issues.
• At least five years of data analysis or related technical experience, including SQL, data visualization, and knowledge of Python or R is highly desirable.
• Relevant training, certification, or work experience — tell us why it’s relevant.
