Job summary

Guidewire seeks a Senior Business Analyst / Business Architect to work with clients on P&C Insurance implementations of InsuranceNow. You will drive clear business requirements, translate them into functional design, and help deliver successful projects.

The role involves leading cross-functional teams, mentoring colleagues, and communicating effectively with stakeholders across the organization. Travel up to 25% is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business analyst experience.
• 3+ years of P&C Insurance experience.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• Cross-functional team experience across geographically distributed locations.
• Strong communication, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and self-start.
• Knowledge of agile software development processes.
• Understanding of insurance concepts and risks.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to drive and fulfill P&C Insurance requirements from inception to installation.
• Lead requirements analysis and create functional design documents.
• Mentor others on managing project implementation.
• Manage and communicate scope changes and risk.
• Lead customer demos and presentations during implementation and releases.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering and cross-functional teams.
