Job summary

MatchBox is urgently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program on a 12-month contract in New Westminster. This hybrid role requires 2 days on site and 3 days remote, working with a public sector client.

You will provide senior business analysis support, lead workshops, translate requirements into specifications, and help with testing, training, and change management. Strong BA leadership and SDLC experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus formal business analysis training (or equivalent).
• 10+ years leading business analysis on large, complex system implementations (on-prem and SaaS).
• Strong SDLC and systems implementation background.
• Understanding of data center, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience conducting current-state assessments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Experience leading BA teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project.
• Skilled at translating business needs into system requirements and process improvements.
• Experience developing KPIs to measure process performance.

Senior Business Analyst (Contractor) - Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program

Role:

Provide senior business analysis support for a cybersecurity and IT resiliency program, working closely with the Program Manager and cross-functional teams. May also contribute to solution design, testing, training, and change management.

Core Responsibilities

• Identify and document business problems, risks, and objectives
• Lead workshops/interviews to gather and analyze requirements
• Translate requirements into detailed functional/technical specifications
• Map current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes
• Support project planning: WBS, RAID logs, status reporting
• Develop test strategy, test plans, and test scripts; support UAT
• Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Prepare change management materials and training content
• Lead or support training delivery for end-users and admins
