Job summary

QuadReal Property Group in Edmonton is seeking a Building Operator, Level 2, to oversee safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the assigned property. You will support a team in delivering high standards of performance and regulatory compliance.

You will operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems, conduct inspections, and respond to tenant requests with professional service. A 5th Class Power Engineer certificate and 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Has 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate and 3+ years in commercial building operations.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems in a commercial real estate environment.
• Proficient with building automation systems and operations technologies.
• Strong safety, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and life safety.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, and maintain documentation.
• Respond to tenant service requests and ensure high levels of service.
• Use building systems and data to identify issues and support improvements.
• Support energy management, sustainability objectives, and upgrades as needed.
