Job summary

TAG Developments Ltd. in Edmonton seeks a permanent Property Operations Supervisor to manage the day-to-day mechanical and operational needs of our commercial portfolio.

You will inspect properties, troubleshoot issues, coordinate tenants, and oversee contractor work and capital projects. The ideal candidate holds a 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate with 7+ years in commercial building ops, and is proficient in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life-safety systems and BAS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive commercial building operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life-safety and BAS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across the commercial portfolio.
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Act as primary operational contact for tenants and service providers.
• Oversee contractors, obtain pricing and monitor workmanship.
• Coordinate building repairs, capital improvements and landlord work.
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings for maintainability.
• Ensure OH&S compliance and safe-work practices; after-hours on-call.
