Job description

An industry leading energy services companyis immediately hiring a Senior Building Automation Technician to cover the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

As the Senior BAS Technician, you will be primarily responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring junior technicians; installing, commissioning and programing building automation systems (i.e. Siemens); and HVAC troubleshooting, preventative and corrective measures to various equipment (Air Handlers, Boilers, Chillers, Variable Frequency Drives, etc.).Other duties include, but are not limited to :

• Support Customers through phone and computer assistance
• Monitor Energy Management Systems in client buildings
• Other related duties

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

• At least five years experience as a Building Automation Technician required
• At least one year related supervisory experience in the industry
• Previous experience with programming and commissioning systems using BACnet and / or P2 protocols
• 24-year technical degree in addition to technical training / certifications
• Certificate in Building Environmental Systems (BES / BSET) or related program, considered an asset.
• Valid G drivers license and clean record
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Background Check (Driving, Criminal, Credit, References)

SHIFT : Days, 8 : 30am 5 : 00pm. Flexible to work outside operational hours as needed

COMPENSATION :

• 70, - $95, / year
• Annual Performance Bonus (average 10-15% of salary)
