Job summary

The Co-operators Group is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT. You will translate concepts into client-focused, system-based solutions and contribute to complex initiatives across the SDLC in an insurance environment.

You will manage data analysis, mappings, and UAT planning while driving process improvements and guiding colleagues. Strong Agile skills and Guidewire experience are required; hybrid work model with 2 days in office.

Qualifications

Five years of IT or related field experience.
Post-secondary IT education completed.
Advanced knowledge of Agile practices, SDLC, processes and tools.
Insurance environment experience is an asset.
Proficiency in English for servicing anglophone clients and reporting.

Responsibilities

Facilitate discussions with business partners to collect and validate detailed analysis of business functions, rules and processes for large projects.
Guide assessment and selection of technical design solutions between team and business stakeholders.
Perform data analysis, data modeling, mapping and flow to support system functionality and integrations.
Develop the user acceptance test plan and lead testing activities for medium to large initiatives.
Lead continuous improvement of the BSA practice and mentor team members.
