We are seeking a talented Intermediate to Senior Bridge Project Manager to join our Transportation Structures Department in Calgary, AB. Our Western Canada Bridge Group has experienced significant growth over the past five years. We aim to strengthen our team to deliver high-quality services to current and future clients, especially in Alberta, Western Canada, and nationally.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage projects involving bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and foundation engineering.
  • Conduct analysis, design, prepare tender packages, perform visual inspections, report writing, cost estimating, and provide construction engineering services.
  • Assist in proposal preparation and develop client relationships.
  • Mentor junior staff members.

Qualifications :

  • P.Eng. designation with APEGA or the ability to transfer.
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in bridge consulting engineering.
  • Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering is an asset.
  • Proven ability to organize, coordinate, and manage quality, budget, schedule, and technical deliverables for all project phases.
  • Experience with CHBDC and Alberta Transportation standards is an asset.
  • Knowledge of City of Calgary and City of Edmonton standards is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong team focus.
  • Experience with CSiBridge, SAP2000, Midas, SFrame, AutoCAD, or similar software is an asset.
  • Experience with D/B or P3 projects is an asset.
  • Experience as a Contract Administrator overseeing bridge construction projects is an asset.
