Job summary

Gallagher Bassett Canada is seeking a Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster for our Scarborough office, operating in a hybrid work model. You will investigate, evaluate, and settle BI claims, handling general liability, property damage, and auto tort as assigned while maintaining professional communication with clients and solicitors.

• College or university degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years Bodily Injury claims experience.
• Experience in commercial lines and retail claims preferred.
• Fully licensed or eligible for licensure in provinces handled.
• CIP courses: C11, C12, C14 and C110.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure and determine settlement actions.
• Interact with claimants, solicitors and vendors.
• Negotiate within authority to resolve claims.
• Maintain timely documentation of all claim activity.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and legal requirements.
