Job summary

YM Inc. is seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to manage Canada and US benefits programs from Toronto. You will oversee renewals, enrollment, vendor management and ensure data integrity.

Lead the benefits team, support plan design with brokers, coordinate compliance calendars across borders, and reconcile RRSP and 401K plans using Dayforce and Office tools.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Canadian/US benefits experience.
  • Dayforce Benefits Administration knowledge.
  • Audit and reconciliation experience.
  • Implementation project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Annual renewal process for Canada & US.
  • Manage vendor relationships.
  • Open enrollment setup and delivery for Canada and US.
  • Promote engagement through employee communication strategies.
  • Partner with stakeholders for record keeping, audit and data integrity.
  • Answer employee benefits questions.
  • Coordinate bill payments, audit enrollment and discrepancies.
  • Manage annual compliance calendar for Canada.
  • Manage annual compliance calendar for US including 5500 filings, PCORI, PPACA.
  • Reconcile and manage RRSP and 401K plans.
  • Supervise Benefit administration team to ensure accuracy and experience.
  • Collaborate with broker in plan design and carrier negotiations.
  • Leaves of Absence Benefits administration and reconciliations.
  • Ensure policies/compliance for Canada/US.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile and manage RRSP and 401K plans
  • Supervise Benefit administration team to ensure timely accurate record keeping and excellent employee experience
  • Be the subject matter expert in plan operations and process improvement strategies
  • Support HR VP and work with broker in plan design and carrier negotiations
  • Leaves of Absence Benefits administration, invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Manage Benefit policies and procedures and ensure compliance with government and provincial/state regulations for Canada and the US.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stake holder to deliver efficiency and effective cost management
Requirements
  • 7+ Years of relevant Canadian/US Benefits experience
  • Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or Certificated Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Dayforce Benefits Administration
  • Implementation project management
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite
  • Creative problem solving
  • Audit and reconciliation experience
