Palmstreet is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to lead backend services powering our live shopping platform. You will build scalable APIs using Node.js and TypeScript and Own critical components end-to-end in a remote Canada role.

You’ll collaborate with product, design and infrastructure teams, drive architecture decisions, and advance features like instant bidding, live interactions and checkout flows. 5+ years of experience and Kubernetes or payments exposure are a plus.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science or higher.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin.
• 5+ years building scalable infrastructure.
• Experience with payment systems preferred.
• Kubernetes experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain robust backend services powering web and mobile apps.
• Collaborate with PMs, design, and infra for scalable product delivery.
• Own a component or system end-to-end with expert understanding.
