Job summary

Affirm Canada is seeking a senior Data Platform Engineer to build, operate, and extend data infrastructure at scale. You will contribute to platform reliability, self-service capabilities, and semantic layer tooling as the company moves toward AI-native data tooling.

You’ll collaborate on RBAC, data governance, secure access, and observability while owning on-call duties and delivering durable platform improvements to reduce toil and blast radius.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating a cloud analytical data platform with governance and data masking.
• Experience building and operating containerized applications with deployment automation and rollout practices.
• Designing internal platforms and developer tooling to improve productivity for engineers.
• Building integrations between systems including REST APIs, OAuth/OIDC, and identity/SSO considerations.
