Job summary

Index Exchange in Toronto is seeking a Senior AV Engineer to own the full lifecycle of our AV and unified communications environment, from designing meeting spaces to hands-on support of platforms and hardware used by teams daily.

You'll lead as the SME for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, manage Rooms deployments across global offices, and contribute to a reliable, white-glove experience for staff and executives alike, including live events and broadcasts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate AV engineering or related role.
• Expert-level admin experience with Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Experience designing AV systems across a range of room types, including large, complex spaces.
• Working knowledge of AV networking concepts: AV-over-IP, multicast, VLANs, and QoS.
• Experience deploying and supporting digital signage platforms (Yodeck and/or BrightSign).
• Proven experience supporting live events and broadcasts in a corporate environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AV systems for meeting spaces of all sizes.
• Administer Teams and Zoom environments, including Meeting Room platforms and management consoles.
• Support digital signage platforms (Yodeck/BrightSign) and network integration for AV workloads.
• Coordinate live events, town halls, and hybrid broadcasts with a​n events team.
• Mentor IT staff and produce runbooks, knowledge base articles, and quick-reference guides.
• Travel to Kitchener, ON and other offices as needed.
