Job summary

PwC Canada seeks a Senior Associate in Valuations, Complex Financial Instruments to deliver analytical support for M&A, restructurings, and financial reporting. You will craft robust valuation models for debentures with embedded derivatives, exotic options, and structured products, and develop tools to enhance deal analysis.

Ideal candidates have deep knowledge of derivatives, fixed income, and market data, plus strong communication and project management.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in quantitative/finance disciplines.
• Solid understanding of derivatives and fixed income valuation modelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical and project management skills; work well in teams.
• Experience with Python/R/Visual Basic is an asset.
• Familiarity with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, AtRisk, Crystal Ball, FINCAD is beneficial.
• Pursuing or completed CFA/FRM/CAIA is an asset.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
