Job summary

BDO Canada LLP in Montreal seeks a Financial Analyst, Valuations & Modelling to join the Financial Advisory Services team. You will assist in business valuations, investment fund valuations, and the valuation of complex financial instruments, working with cross-functional teams.

You will draft valuation reports, support compliance with IFRS/ASPE, and build client relationships while pursuing a CBV designation with team support. The role supports flexible office arrangements in a blended model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA designation is an asset and CBV designation pursued is expected.
• 1–2 years in Audit or Valuations/M&A is preferred.
• Experience with IFRS/ASPE is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and prioritization of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide valuations across business, investment funds, and financial instruments.
• Support audit and regulatory compliance with valuation memos.
• Draft valuation reports and management presentations.
• Collaborate with audit, accounting advisory, and transaction services teams.
• Develop relationships with current and prospective clients.
