Job summary

HFH Inc. is a design + build company in southern Ontario seeking an architectural designer to prepare permit drawings and develop conceptual designs using Revit and Enscape. You will ensure compliance with codes, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and manage multiple projects from concept through permits.

The role is in-office with regular team collaboration. The ideal candidate holds BCIN or AATO certification with a Diploma/Degree in Architectural Construction Technology and strong

Qualifications

  • BCIN Certification or AATO Certification required.
  • Diploma or Degree in Architectural Construction Technology required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Revit.
  • Ability to interpret and apply the Ontario Building Code with building science principles.
  • Familiarity with municipal by-laws, conservation authorities, and other governing authorities.
  • Experience preparing and submitting drawings for site plan and building permit applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Ontario construction methods and practices for residential, agricultural, and commercial projects.

  • Pay: $34-$42 / hr
  • Job Type: Full-Time In-Office
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare permit and construction drawings that comply with applicable codes, by-laws, regulations, and best practices.
