Architectural Contract Administrator - HYBRID
Mid to Large Architecture Firm
$80-$120k + Flexible WFH + excellent benefits + bonus

About the client and role: A dynamic Revit architectural firm with multiple offices seeks an intermediate to senior contract administrator to join their team of CAs. You would be responsible for a weekly site visit and contract documentation for an assigned territory: Toronto through Ottawa. Working with the Partners and Project Architects, the CCA ensures high-quality technical standards are met.

What they are looking for:

1. Minimum 5-7 years work experience; Architectural Technologist, Bachelor of Architecture credentials; preference to candidates with CCCA training from the CSC or OAA registered candidates - Solid Revit skills.
2. Driver's license; ability to travel to sites once per week; occasionally stay overnight (costs covered by the employer).
3. Experience leading & monitoring medium to large projects ($20-$120 million) from construction to close-out; a PDF sheet of projects from the past 5 years, ideally in long-term care, senior homes, university or large-scale mixed-use buildings.
4. Solid OBC and building science fundamentals; ability to provide design feedback and anticipate design issues to suggest substitutions that meet design specifications.
5. Familiar with CCDC contract documentation; with CCDC-5B; different project types.
6. Ensure high-quality drawings and documentation to reduce rework, errors and omissions.
7. Strong troubleshooting; the ability to deal with headstrong personalities; solve evolving design needs that meet budget and timelines.
8. Solid Revit; Bluebeam, PM software such as Wrike; experience in cloud-based CCA software such as Rform.
