Job summary

Solstice Health, Inc. is hiring a Senior Member of Technical Staff (Applied AI) in Toronto to own the technical direction of our AI systems, including retrieval, generation, verification, and evaluation.

You will influence product strategy and build end-to-end ML/LLM capabilities in production. You’ll work closely with the VP of Engineering and co‑founders, shaping architecture and hiring while leading Toronto engineering efforts and aligning with the New York team.

Qualifications

• Production ownership of ML/LLM systems in production.
• Experience building metrics to measure system improvements.
• Ability to design and ship end-to-end AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction of AI systems: retrieval, generation, verification, evaluation.
• Influence product strategy, technical hiring, and market positioning.
• Lead ML/LLM development with CI/CD, versioning, and monitoring.
• Ensure provenance and grounding of all generated assets.
• Collaborate with leadership and co-founders on roadmap and architecture.
