Job summary

Teranet Inc. is seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist to manage production incidents, change releases, and root cause analysis for Registry and Commercial solutions. You will troubleshoot complex systems, document fixes, and support on-call duties to ensure high availability.

The role requires strong ITIL/ITSM knowledge, 6+ years in production support, and experience with Azure/Azure Red Hat OpenShift, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Hybrid work options may apply in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of production support experience.
• Experience with Azure and Azure Red Hat OpenShift operations.
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM foundations and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system availability for critical apps and databases via incident and problem investigation.
• Promote and manage application changes and releases to production.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for application support.
• Create and maintain support scripts (startup/shutdown, etc.).
• Manage production change requests for patching and monitoring.
