Job summary

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited, based in Calgary, is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Associate to ensure timely and accurate payment processing, vendor support, reconciliations, and invoice processing. This on-site role requires solid accounting knowledge and extensive AP experience in a multi-entity setting.

You will work under the AP Supervisor/Manager, mentor team members, and handle complex weekly payment runs while adhering to corporate policies.

Qualifications

• College diploma in accounting, finance or business.
• Minimum five (5) years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Solid understanding of Canadian taxes.
• Experience working in multi-entity corporations.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor statements and determine invoice status.
• Verify Code to Pay invoices and posting accuracy.
• Perform 3-way match for PO invoices.
• Handle vendor inquiries on payment status via phone/email.
• Manage AP accruals, reconciliations and month-end activities.
• Assist with AP reporting and system improvements.
