Job summary

National Bank Trust is seeking a Senior Analyst, Custody Invoicing within the Custody Operations team. You will act as a subject matter expert in custody invoicing and support institutional investment activities, driving accurate billing, risk management and continuous process improvement.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex issues, implement efficient solutions, and strengthen controls through automation, while contributing to the evolution of the operating model and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Minimum of five years in custody operations, securities operations, fund administration or related area.
  • Experience supporting institutional clients or working in asset management, custody services or investment management environments.
  • Experience participating in transformation, automation or process optimization initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate or Python.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for invoicing activities related to custody operations and ensure the accuracy of billing processes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to resolve complex issues and implement efficient, sustainable solutions.
  • Analyze operational exceptions, discrepancies and incidents to ensure timely resolution and prevent recurrence.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to strengthen controls, streamline processes and increase operational efficiency through automation.
  • Contribute to strategic transformation initiatives, client onboarding activities and the evolution of the operating model.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and regulatory requirements while sharing your expertise with colleagues across the team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in custody operations, securities operations, fund administration or a related area within financial services.
  • Experience supporting institutional clients or working in asset management, custody services or investment management environments.
  • Experience participating in transformation, automation or process optimization initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Power Automate or Python.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services is considered an asset.
