Overview

Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services is seeking an Analyst, Risk Management, to support our growing team. This group ensures compliance with professional, regulatory, and KPMG global policies and standards, focusing on monitoring standards related to personal independence, including regulations from the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of independence rules and internal policies through consultation and review of risk management manuals.
• Conduct compliance audits related to personal independence standards.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches.
• Respond to inquiries via the KICS help desk regarding investments and independence policies.
• Assist with other compliance tasks and ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in business or finance preferred.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in high-volume environments, maintaining quality under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and maintaining professional relationships.
• Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role in BC is $54,000 to $81,000, plus potential bonuses. Compensation is based on location, skills, and experience. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
