Job summary
CIMCO is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Operator to operate and monitor industrial refrigeration systems in Regina, ensuring safe and reliable process cooling. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on compressors, piping, and related equipment, and respond to alarms with prompt troubleshooting.
We value hands-on expertise with ammonia-based systems and strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA/DCS control environments.
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic with Alberta/Canada qualification preferred.
- 10+ years of industrial refrigeration experience.
- Ammonia-based system experience essential.
- Familiar with PLC/SCADA/DCS control systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial refrigeration systems.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on compressors, piping, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot system issues and respond to alarms.
- Support maintenance planning, inspections, and system reliability initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of operating procedures and maintenance programs.
