Job summary

CIMCO specializes in engineering, design, manufacture, installation and service of industrial refrigeration systems. The role is for a technician apprentice ready to carry out preventative maintenance for customers, work with technicians and account managers, and participate in on-call rotation and health and safety programs.

Ideal candidate is in 3rd–4th year of apprenticeship, holds a valid driver’s license, and has strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently a 3rd to 4th year apprentice.
• Driver's license in good standing.
• Gas Fitter license is an asset.
• Controls experience is an asset.
• Previous experience with ammonia or CO2 refrigerant would be an asset.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be able to work on a team or independently from a mobile location.
• Carry out preventative maintenance within our customer base.
• Identify and communicate potential upgrades and required maintenance to customers and account managers.
• Be available to fit into our on-call rotation throughout the year.
• Participate and follow all health and safety programs.

• Pay or shift range: $25.85 CAD to $43.95 CAD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
