PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) in Mississauga is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Airfield Civil & Electrical. You will oversee design, construction, and technical coordination across the AEC Sub-Program in a live airport environment, leading design management, constructability reviews, and stakeholder engagement to ensure safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in design and construction management of major airfield or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in live airport environments and complex stakeholder coordination.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage stakeholders (GTAA, Nav Canada).
  • Experience with Progressive Design-Build or Design-Build delivery models.
  • Strong commercial and technical acumen to evaluate design decisions against schedule and cost.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee design management of Airfield Civil & Electrical scope.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
  • Lead design-build integration and constructability reviews.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement with GTAA, Nav Canada and regulators.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance throughout design and construction.
  • Track design progress, schedule integration and coordination with project controls.
  • Support development of design packages and technical specifications for procurement and construction.
  • Coordinate cost planning and estimate validation.
