Job summary

PACT's Pearson Airport Construction Team is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee daily field operations across one of Canada's largest aviation infrastructure programs. The role requires coordinating subcontractors, labour, equipment, and materials while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule commitments within active airport environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent in large-scale infrastructure.
• Airport construction experience in active environments preferred.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, labour, and equipment.
• Strong safety leadership and compliance with GTAA standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site construction activities for safety and quality.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain site presence and monitor progress against plans.
• Lead daily safety briefings and inspections.
• Manage site logistics: laydown, access, hoarding, deliveries.
• Collaborate with Construction Manager on lookaheads and schedules.
• Identify delays early and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure drawings and specs are followed and documentation complete.
• Support inspections, testing, checklists, and field records.
• Coordinate interfaces with airport operations and GTAA stakeholders.
• Work within restricted access and overnight windows as required.
• Maintain RAIC compliance and airport regulatory requirements.
