Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Applied AI/ML Developer in Toronto to lead design, analysis and delivery of data-driven solutions across RAG programs. You will guide ML-driven features, collaborate across teams, and mentor others while staying at the cutting edge of NLP/ML practice.

You will work hands-on to solve complex problems, evaluating models, building POCs, and delivering production-ready solutions that impact customer experiences across Autodesk platforms.

Qualifications

• MS/M.Tech/M.Math or PhD in CS, stats, math, physics, economics, linguistics or related fields.
• 3+ years of applicable work experience in ML.
• Heads-on experience with NLU and integrating traditional search into RAG.
• Proficiency with the Python ML stack (Pandas, DL frameworks, ML, calibration).
• Experience leading ML teams in production deployments.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver ML in production.

Responsibilities

• Design ML capabilities that improve Autodesk’s RAG platforms.
• Perform data analysis to generate datasets for model training.
• Collaborate with team members to push ahead ML capabilities at the frontier.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for ML features.
• Partner with stakeholders to solve business objectives with ML.
• Translate business needs into ML/data problems.
