Job summary

Autodesk in Toronto, Canada, seeks an MCP/AI Developer to build end-to-end features of the agentic platform, including MCP tools, agentic workflows, and services behind them. You'll work on a modern web stack and integrate LLMs via APIs to deliver capabilities our users rely on.

The role emphasizes ownership of features, collaboration with Product and UX, and a clear path to grow deep ML expertise as the team and Autodesk's AI competency mature.

Qualifications

• Master's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a Bachelor's with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on software development with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web frameworks (React).
• Experience with Git, PR workflows, and collaborative development.
• Exposure to LLMs or AI APIs and agentic/RAG features is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and keen interest in ML/AI growth, plus English communication.
• Experience with Agile practices and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain code for MCP tools and agentic features across front-end and back-end.
• Integrate LLMs and models via APIs/SDKs to deliver agentic workflows with attention to latency and cost.
• Help build guardrails for agentic workflows including human-in-the-loop steps and error handling.
• Contribute to automated tests, evaluation harnesses, CI/CD, and developer tooling.
• Debug across stack and collaborate with senior engineers and QA.
• Translate requirements from Product and UX into technical tasks and surface risks early.
