Job summary

BC Hydro in Burnaby (Edmonds 13) is hiring a Sr Manager, Digital Innovation (AI) to lead the execution and evolution of the digital innovation strategy and roadmap, and to identify emerging AI tools that create new business value.

The role oversees the M365 platform, ensures security and architectural alignment, manages staff and budgets, and collaborates with business leaders to co-create digital solutions. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA/Master’s asset.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology, digital, or AI leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience managing AI solutions as products, including lifecycle management.
• Understanding of data management, quality, and governance for reliable AI deployment.
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices in regulated environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, CS, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital innovation strategy and roadmap.
• Identify emerging AI tools and trends creating business value.
• Promote experimentation, rapid prototyping, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee AI platforms to maximize value and adoption.
• Ensure platform security and architectural alignment.
