Job summary

PAL Aerospace is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to establish and maintain configuration baselines across programs. You will work with Programs, Engineering, Systems Engineering & Integration, IT, and Supply Chain to ensure CM processes are documented and adhered to.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace/engineering with strict configuration control.
• 5+ years in an Engineering or technical design environment.
• 5+ years in aerospace industry with knowledge of aircraft systems.
• Experience with CM standards and systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE) and ISO 10007/SAE/EIA-649 family.
• Knowledge of civil/military airworthiness change processes (Transport Canada CAR 521 and FAA/EASA Part 21).
• Experience controlling aircraft and mission-system baselines (requirements, interfaces, drawings, software versions).
• Experience leading or facilitating CCBs and configuration audits in cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management processes and procedures.
• Maintain technical configuration baselines for aircraft, mission systems, software, and data.
• Manage PBS, CIs, identifiers, hierarchy, and baseline release rules.
• Coordinate CM requirements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Plan and conduct configuration verification and audits, including data audits and baselining.
