Job summary
MDA Space in Canada is seeking a Senior Configuration Management Coordinator to lead CM for software and hardware projects within the CADM team of the Geointelligence business area. You will define strategies, author CM plans, establish baselines, and manage configuration item changes for complex system deliverables.
Successful candidates will have 5+ years in software/CM/hardware engineering, strong Windows experience, and familiarity with tools like GIT/JIRA/Subversion, plus CM standards and
Qualifications
- Two- or three-year accredited diploma/certificate in applied science or engineering technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software, CM or hardware/systems engineering.
- Familiarity with CM tools and Windows OS; Linux is an asset.
- Experience with CM standards and quality management systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive configuration management strategies for software and/or hardware design and integration.
- Author CM plans aligning with contractual requirements.
- Establish configuration baselines at multiple levels of scale.
- Maintain item disposition, location, and status for reporting and decisions.
- Audit CM items and support CM process audits.
