Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Project Configuration and Change Manager to own end-to-end CCM for high-criticality projects. You will work with engineering, project management, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy, traceability, and controlled changes across the lifecycle.

You will establish and implement the Configuration Management Plan, lead CCM activities and audits, and manage CCM tools and access rights, while guiding a team of CCM professionals and coordinating with stakeholders in Quebec and

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• Experience or understanding of CCM processes.
• Knowledge of project lifecycle management and configuration tools.
• Familiarity with standards and regulations related to CCM.
• A relevant certification in Configuration or Change Management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing the project/program configuration and ensuring changes are controlled throughout the lifecycle.
• Leading CCM activities and ensuring team members are trained and compliant with CCM processes.
• Establishing and maintaining the Configuration Management Plan, including roles and responsibilities.
• Ensuring the application of CCM tools and managing access rights.
• Escalating risks or issues related to CCM and reporting on performance indicators.
• Executing CCM audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Managing a team of Configuration and Change Managers, if applicable.
• Performing Configuration Management activities such as monitoring item accuracy, preparing Configuration Strategies, and ensuring supplier CCM.
• Performing Change Management activities, including organizing and leading Change Boards, monitoring change requests, and facilitating event management.
