Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Actuary to join a fully remote team. The role focuses on pricing, reserving, capital modeling, and strategic financial planning for diverse insurance products.

You will lead actuarial modeling efforts, mentor staff, and communicate complex results to senior leadership while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Fellowship in a recognized actuarial society is required.
  • At least 8 years of progressive actuarial experience in insurance.
  • Expertise across pricing, reserving, capital modeling or risk management.
  • Advanced skills in modeling software and programming (R, Python, SQL).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and refinement of actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and solvency.
  • Provide guidance on product development, strategy, and regulatory changes.
  • Analyze large datasets to inform risk and financial forecasting.
