Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
  • Progress towards actuarial qualifications (e.g., exams) expected.
  • 1–3 years of actuarial experience in insurance preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Excel; knowledge of Prophet, R, or Python beneficial.
  • Good communication and teamwork in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in calculating technical provisions, reserves, and capital requirements for insurance products.
  • Support pricing of new insurance products including profitability analysis and assumption setting.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models and databases for valuation and reporting.
