Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Conduct rigorous, end-to-end reviews of critical models, testing conceptual soundness, design, assumptions, and internal controls.
  • Debate and influence methodological choices through high-level dialogue with development teams and senior experts.
  • Identify and assess risks in emerging models and ensure all frameworks comply with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed validation findings and recommendations; track remediation plans to ensure timely closure of identified issues.
  • Serve as the team’s intellectual lead for model validation, reproducing complex calculations from first principles to verify results.
  • Audit support.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience.
  • FSA or ASA.
  • Advanced proficiency in quantitative tools (spreadsheets, databases, mathematical software) and programming languages.
  • Strong analytical rigor and ability to synthesize complex data and challenge internal experts.
