Job summary

Aviva Canada is seeking an Actuarial Manager to join the Large Accounts Pricing team. You will lead rate adequacy analyses and pricing reviews for high value and complex portfolios, collaborating with underwriters and leadership to deliver impactful pricing solutions.

The role focuses on developing innovative pricing approaches, mentoring analysts, and driving continuous improvement across the pricing function within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• ACAS/ACIA or FCAS/FCIA preferred.
• 5+ years of P&C actuarial pricing experience; 3+ years in commercial pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead indication analysis to ensure rate adequacy for high value accounts.
• Develop alternative pricing solutions based on account characteristics.
• Collaborate with underwriters and senior management to deliver pricing insights.
• Develop and execute roadmap for pricing process improvements.
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide pricing recommendations.
• Coach and mentor junior analysts and co-ops.
