Job summary

Allstate Insurance Company of Canada is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support the Actuarial team in delivering pricing, risk assessment and strategic metrics across the organization. You will apply advanced actuarial methods, coach junior staff, and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to implement rate changes, rate filings and new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial, statistics, or similar field; ACAS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of product, price, risk management and insurance regulation, incl. professional standards.
• Strong understanding of predictive analytics and leading evaluation of predictive models.
• Project management skills to handle multiple medium complexity projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in cross-functional projects.
• Liaise between business units and systems for assigned projects.
• Identify, recommend, develop and integrate SAS and Visual Basic programs.
• Support and/or lead design of new rating plans, products, processes.
• Coach, develop, review and delegate work to junior actuarial staff.
• Communicate complex analyses to colleagues and partners and provide recommendations.
