Job summary

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking an Activity Aide to enrich residents' lives at South Woodslee, Ontario. The role supports ongoing activity programs, fosters engagement, and assists with program setup and execution.

The position is part-time with a 12:00pm–8:00pm shift, reporting to the Programs Manager. A relevant post-secondary diploma is required or in progress, plus strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate individual and group activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of one-on-one/group program planning and evaluation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate activation programs for residents.
• Transport and monitor residents during activities; report changes to staff.
• Maintain records of programs and participation per policy.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet resident needs.
