Job summary

Plan International Canada is seeking a finance professional to join a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will integrate financial data from country offices, prepare comprehensive reporting packages, and support statutory filings while ensuring accurate accounts mapping and cost allocations.

The ideal candidate has accounting/finance education, with experience in donor reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and IFRS/ASPE knowledge.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA designation considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review and integrate financial data from country offices.
• Submit data on set deadlines.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages and statements per ASPE/IFRS.
• Maintain chart of accounts and ensure correct mappings.
• Allocate recharges per cost categories with proper backups and approvals.
• Prepare statutory returns.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
