Your New Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Corporate Controller and be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of various accounting activities. Your duties will include maintaining day-to-day general ledger transactions, preparing and reviewing financial reports, conducting reconciliations and compliance processes, managing cash requirements, assisting with budgeting and variance analysis, supporting audit processes, and handling other corporate accounting duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• A general understanding of Canadian GAAP and IFRS is an asset

What You’ll Get in Return

• A competitive salary of $90,000 to $95,000
• The opportunity to potentially progress to a Supervisor role within 6-9 months and potentially move to a future manager role
• A hybrid work environment, with 3 days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
