Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Staff Accountant located in Burnaby, BC. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, financial statement preparation, and assisting with tax preparation. The role will also involve analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting senior accountants with various accounting tasks.

Must - Have

• Experience using Caseware
• Experience in Canadian public Accounting

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
