Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Self‑Checkout Attendant in Port Coquitlam to help customers complete transactions at the self‑service area, keep the area clean and organized, and provide friendly, efficient service. The role supports a fast-paced retail environment with exposure to store operations.

You will assist customers, explain interventions, monitor activity, and escalate issues to the Customer Service Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to handle transactions and assist customers at self-checkout areas.
• Able to promote Walmart programs and initiatives when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards: keep area clean, safe, and organized.
• Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives when applicable.
• Support Customers at Self Checkout by assisting and explaining processes, escalating issues as needed.
• Respond to EAS Alerts and complete required documentation.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment and ensure scanners are stored after use.
