Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Self-Checkout Attendant in New Westminster, BC. You will support customers at the self-checkout area, ensure a clean and safe environment, and promote Walmart programs.

The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to handle a fast-paced retail setting, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position involves assisting customers with quick checkouts, monitoring activity, and escalating issues when needed.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards and keep area clean, safe, and organized.
• Promote Walmart programs and initiatives where applicable.
• Assist customers at self checkout and explain interventions in a friendly manner.
• Respond to EAS alarms and complete the log.
• Manage Scan & Go equipment and return after use.
