Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a diligent Self-Checkout Attendant at the Williams Lake store to help customers complete transactions and maintain a friendly checkout area. You will support a positive shopping experience with quick, courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll handle self-checkout assistance, explain interventions amicably, monitor alarms, keep scanners and stations tidy, and adapt to a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards: Keep the self-checkout area clean, safe, and organized.
• Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives: Support credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives when applicable.
• Support Customers at Self Checkout: Help customers use self checkout quickly and confidently; explain interventions calmly and escalate issues when needed.
• Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation: Handle EAS alarms per procedures and log failures accurately.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment: Return scanners to storage after use.
