Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a Technician I - Security in Calgary to assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of security systems. You will gain hands-on experience with low voltage access control systems, CCTV setups and prewiring projects.

The role requires 1-3 years in a technical security environment, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently, with potential night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in a technical role within the integrated security industry
• Proficiency with copper and fiber optic terminations, installation and basic troubleshooting
• Experience with security systems (CCTV, alarms) and intruder systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables, connectors, and related components
• Assist in installing and servicing electronic security systems including pre-wiring, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems
• Provide customer training and respond to technical inquiries
• Build client relationships for future opportunities
• Administrative duties including project updates and documentation
• Potential night shifts based on project/service requirements
• Perform other duties as required
