Job summary

The role requires a BC Security TQ Licence, proficiency with Windows/MS Server, and strong hands-on skills with diagnostic tools and IT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school; electronics/computers preferred.
• BC Security TQ Licence is required.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Experience with installation/servicing of security systems (C-Cure 9000, Kantech, Genetec, Lenel/S2).

Responsibilities

• Install and inspect equipment per manufacturer specs to meet expectations.
• Coordinate field activities and ensure seamless programming, integration, and commissioning.
• Diagnose and address equipment issues with robust field troubleshooting.
• Advise customers on optimal solutions to restore systems.
• Manage service calls and allocate field labor hours efficiently.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Prepare reports documenting daily activities and system performance.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain integrity and safety.
• Operate safely in confined spaces and at heights with proper equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver integrated security solutions.
