Job description

The Security System Analyst plays a key role in supporting Radius Security’s commitment to delivering reliable, innovative, and customer-focused security solutions. This position is responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting, programming, testing, and optimizing integrated security systems to ensure maximum performance and seamless operation.

Working closely with internal teams, customers, external partners, and manufacturers, the Security System Analyst helps resolve complex technical challenges, improve system reliability, and drive continuous enhancements across our security platforms. Compensation

Starting at $28.00/hour, but is dependent on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage customer expectations while diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues
  • Program, configure, and test Radius Security systems and associated technologies
  • Ensure reliable transmission of alarms and signals to the Command Center
  • Develop and implement proactive solutions to reduce recurring issues and improve system performance
  • Review problem accounts, create action plans, coordinate resolutions, and monitor outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve system and integration challenges
  • Interact with hardware manufacturers to share performance data, troubleshoot issues, and support integration development initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with company and customer policies, including internal controls, documentation, and verification procedures
  • Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and system changes within ticketing systems

Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven experience supporting customers in a technical environment.
  • Ability to work with multiple systems, software platforms, and hardware devices.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Technical Expertise
  • Advanced knowledge of BOLD Group and SureView Systems programming, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of IPv4 networking, including:
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Port forwarding
  • IP whitelisting
  • Firewall rule configuration
  • Familiarity with burglar and fire alarm panels and their communication protocols.
  • Experience working with video and remote guarding systems is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems is considered an asset.
