Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring a Security Supervisor to lead a team of Security Officers in a prestigious corporate office in Vancouver. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, supervising shifts, and delivering excellent client and visitor experiences.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of security and team management experience, a BC security license, first aid certification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• 2-3 years of security and team management experience.
• First aid certification.
• Hold a valid BC security license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of Security Officers during assigned shifts.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, contractors, and assets.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the office building and property.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms, and security tech; respond to incidents.
• Oversee visitor management and verify IDs for entry.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, medical situations, and fire alarms.
• Complete incident reports and handover documentation.
• Investigate security concerns and policy violations.
• Coordinate with property management, leadership, and emergency services.
• Monitor officer performance and mentor staff.

As a Security Supervisor , you'll lead a high-performing team of Security Guards within a prestigious global corporate office, ensuring seamless day-to-day security operations while delivering an exceptional client and visitor experience. Working across multiple shifts, you'll set the standard for professionalism, operational excellence, and customer service in one of the region's most exciting workplace environments.

Responsibilities for Security Supervisor

• Supervise and support a team of Security Officers during assigned shifts.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, contractors, and corporate assets.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the office building and surrounding property.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and other security technologies to identify and respond to suspicious activity.
• Oversee visitor management, issue temporary access badges, and verify identification for authorized entry.
• Respond to emergencies, security incidents, medical situations, and fire alarms while following established procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handover documentation.
• Investigate and document security concerns, policy violations, and workplace incidents.
• Coordinate with property management, corporate leadership, emergency services, and law enforcement when required.
• Monitor officer performance, provide ongoing mentorship, and promote exceptional customer service standards.

Qualifications for Security Supervisor

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent leadership & communication skills
• 2-3 number of years of experience in security and team management
• First aid certification
• Hold a valid BC security license
