Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to patrol retail environments, lead a security team, and quickly respond to incidents in Ottawa, Ontario. The role requires a valid security license, First Aid, and the ability to stand and walk the shift while preparing concise reports.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification is required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Ability to write concise reports.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure shift responsibilities and tasks are completed to quality.
